Customer Spotlight: A Fully Electric Campervan Kitchen Powered by Lithium
As more van owners switch from gas to electric, we’re seeing a growing number of customers pairing GN Espace induction cookers with modern lithium battery systems - achieving safe, efficient and completely gas-free cooking on the road.
Our customer Max recently completed an impressive project - upgrading their Mercedes-Benz Umimog to a fully electric kitchen, featuring the GN Espace 450 Explorer oven and 2-zone induction hob. The RV is powered entirely by a Victron MultiPlus 24/5000/120 inverter/charger and a LiFePO₄ 24V / 600Ah battery bank.
With a system like this, they now have plenty of stored power to run their oven and induction hob comfortably - no gas, no compromise.
A Careful and Rewarding Conversion Process
After patiently waiting for an appointment with their carpenter, the kitchen refit took just under a week and a half to complete. But the results were worth it.

With the electrical upgrade complete, the customer is now preparing for their next big trip - a journey from September to December that will put their new kitchen to the test.
